Linda Bridgers Boyette

Thank you for sharing on a great site. We are three cousins in North Carolina who are compiling a BRIDGER FAMILY book. We have a researcher across the ocean that is providing information from Europe. We cover BRIDGER, BRIDGERS and are now adding BRIDGES.

Maria Louisa Bridges
Just drifted in to see if Maria/Mariah Louisa Bridges was in here. Her father William Bridges b.1796-d.1826-30 married in 1819 Montgomery Co.AL Mary Tatum. Maria married William Chancellor they had a child Mary Chancellor b.1845 Coosa Co.AL and she's my GG Grand mother. Looking to see what I can find on William Bridges parents. Very cool site. Thanks for doing this for people.

My Family Tree
I was surfing in search of my family history when I found the Thomas and Bridges Site. I am really supprised to say the least... I had no idea! I am a Grandson of Homer Franklin and Clemma Lee Sharp. My father is Kenneth N Sharp Sr. Lonnie Dean Sharp and my father are the only surviving members of Homer and Clemma's children to date. I want to thank you all for creating this site, it was a most welcome find. Please feel free to contact me if there are any questions, I will answer to the best of my ability. Thanks again!

I love this site. I stumbled on it a few years ago and found out that I am the great great grandson of Alfred C. Thomas who fought in the Orphan Brigade. I found this outfit to be fascinating and am now doing my masters thesis on the Orphans at the University of Alabama - Huntsville. I feel blessed that someone has felt compelled to spend the countless hours required to preserve my family's history.

Love the site. It's always fun to read up on my family history. Never had the privilege of meeting my Grandfather, Floyd Calvin Thomas, but I've heard good things about him. Keep up the great work on the site!
