Welcome to the Thomas & Bridges Family History Website!

Welcome to the Thomas-Bridges Family History website. The family history of the Thomas and Bridges Family of Trigg County, Kentucky is presented herein. This family tree and other family information is placed here in an effort to assist others doing family research. Not all branches of the tree are complete and unfortunately, there may be isolated errors in dates or other information. The data is being updated on a regular basis. See What's New above for the latest updates to the website. If you have additional information to be added to these pages or have corrections of any errors, please e-mail Charles Kenneth Bridges at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

I would like to thank Edison H. Thomas, author of The Thomas and Bridges Story 1540-1840 and the late Gilbert N. Bridges, author of The Thomas and Bridges History from which much of the information in these pages was obtained. And, of course, thanks to my late grandfather, G. A. Bridges whose inspiration made this website possible.

Special thanks to Kim Broyles, great-great granddaughter of Starkie William Thomas, for the graphic arts and the hosting of this website.  Thank you, Kim, for providing this gateway to our family history.
